…until the 33. Edition of the Winckelmann Cup in Freiburg!

The Caligula Strikers are excited to welcome you to Freiburg for the 33rd edition of the Winckelmann Cup in 2026!
The event will take place in 79112 Opfingen from the 10th to the 12th July of 2026.

After exactly 16 years since the last tournament in Freiburg, the legendary WMC in Opfingen, it is time for all motivated Archaeologists in Europe to gather in the Black Forest once again. Following the long tradition we want to spend a weekend of football, fun and friendship. Together with our beautiful landscapes, hospitality and long tradition of archaeology (and even longer: brewery!) we will create an unforgettable Cup with all of you. See you there!
